Growing up in the West Island is funny because when you make friends that are in the city, they’re always joking about being from Dollard or wherever because you live in ‘farm land’ and stuff like that. But to be honest with you, I loved growing up in the West Island for my childhood, just because I got to participate in so many activities. I got to grow up in a space that wasn’t so busy and hectic. Now I hate it because it takes so long to get anywhere, but back then, it was fun.
