“We’ve known each other for ever! We all went to Israel in ’89 for the 25th anniversary of Beth Tikvah. Now it was the 50th anniversary of Beth Tikvah, so we had an extension after the Montreal Mega Mission.”
“I did a second Bat Mitzvah — a second chance. My parents moved from Drummondville so we could have a Hebrew education. We had another chance to have a Bat Mitzvah on the train to Be’er Sheva. I think my parents would be happy that I had two Bat Mitzvahs!”
