I’m a fourth generation Montrealer from both sides of my family, so I have great grandparents who were born and raised in Montreal. My great grandmother lived out her life just around the corner from here and I live right over there. It’s cool that I can walk by and see where she used to live. I’m very proud to be Canadian; I think it’s very special that I have that tie to the country as a whole.
