“I am inspired by Holocaust survivors in my personal and professional life. In fact, I dedicate my new book, Recovering from Genocidal Trauma to members of the Drop-in Centre for Holocaust Survivors at the Cummings Centre who overcame the most severe forms of persecution and filled important roles in the cultural, religious and institutional development of our community. Their survival is an example of the human spirit’s ability to adapt, rebuild, and recover from mass atrocity crimes. They inspire and give hope to all survivors of traumatic life events.”
