“I’ve been working at this school for 42 years. I was one of the first teachers that came here — I was the second Hebrew teacher — and I feel like I’m growing up alongside the school. It was my first home.”
“What’s your favourite part of your job?”
“Teaching the younger kids, because every day, I see how they’re improving. It’s like a house that you build: you start from the bottom and every day you build another brick. It’s the same way in grade one: they come without knowing everything and you see how they progress.”
