“What’s your favourite thing about your husband?”

“He’s much more easy-going than I am, to a point where it’s almost like a yin and a yang effect. I find I’ll be so angry and so upset and he’ll just be laughing, which shows how insignificant it is and it really brings me back to reality.”

“Funny… mine’s almost exactly the same! I’m more of a relaxed, laid back personality, whereas she is more passionate. She’ll get super excited about something and be over the moon, or get really upset about other things. It’s nice to have someone complement my personality.”

“Can you think of a time when your complementary traits were helpful in your lives?”

“When I passed the UFEs to get my Chartered Accountancy degree. It’s a pretty extensive, exhaustive exam that requires a lot of work.”

“Oh my God, he’s such a weirdo! I had been freaking out all day, and he wanders upstairs and his brother asks if he could check to see if he passed. And he said: ‘yeah, sure, no problem.’ I can’t believe he would let his twelve-year-old brother check for him! He just looks and says: ‘oh yeah, I passed.’”
