“I have been affiliated with the Montreal Jewish community since my late teens. However, as a senior, I know that keeping busy can be challenging. It’s also wonderful because, through the Jewish community, I’ve had the opportunity to discover new interests. I now find myself involved as a volunteer; as a participant in a woodcarving class; trying to improve my French through a French class; I’m even planning to enroll in a computer class!
Having these opportunities right here in Montreal is a great way to meet people and interact on different levels.”
Federation CJA allocated over $1.7 Million in 2013 to providing enriching, life-long learning opportunities as well as many valuable social services.
